Tesla Motors’ attempt to end range anxiety last week were successful in easing consumers’ concerns, according to a poll from TheStreet. On March 19, Tesla unveiled Version 6.2 of its software, which makes it ‘basically impossible to run out of range, unless you do so intentionally,’ according to CEO Elon Musk. Though investors were disappointed with the updates, sending shares lower after the press conference, 71% of respondents to a poll by TheStreet said the announcements would help solve the issues surrounding running out of battery charge. Of the approximately 1,800 people who voted in the survey, 1,286 said that they would be more likely to buy a Model S, given the news.
