Cadillac CEO Bob Ferguson says the once-staid luxury automaker is experiencing a ‘renaissance’ and ‘is back in the conversation among luxury competitors.’ In 2014, Ferguson says he expects to see health growth, especially in the U.S. and in China as the brand continues to gain traction globally. Cadillac’s latest launch, the ATS coupe, should help the brand continue to attract a younger buyer. The ATS sedan, which Cadillac launched in 2013, has brought in 7 out of 10 customers who had never purchased a Cadillac before. Those customers are also 10 years younger than the typical Cadillac buyer, says Ferguson. TheStreet’s Ruben Ramirez reports from Detroit.
