Authorities in Los Angeles said at least five people have died and more than 1,000 homes and other structures have been destroyed by devastating wildfires that swept through several Los Angeles neighborhoods. Tens of thousands were evacuated and 1.5 million were reported without power. The fires were propelled by hurricane-force Santa Ana winds. NBC News’ Liz Kreutz reports.
