An 11-year-old boy was fatally shot after playing a “ding-dong ditch” prank in Houston. He was shot while running away after ringing a doorbell in a neighborhood in the east of the city, and was pronounced dead at the hospital the following day. Officers responding to the shooting released a person who had been detained for questioning, the city said.
