JPMorgan Chase ( ) quarterly numbers beat on both earnings and revenue. The bank said earnings were $1.58 a share versus an expected $1.39. Revenue also beat expectations, coming in at $25.5 billion. Chase saw loans, mobile customers and credit card sales all stronger compared to a year ago. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has sent a letter to President Obama criticizing SEC Chairwoman Mary Jo White. Warren wants her removed from that position. Warren says White isn’t getting rid of the political spending disclosure rule, which would force public companies disclose their political contributions. Netflix ( ) is paying Chris Rock a ton of money. The streaming service is paying the comedian $40 million for 2 stand up comedy specials. Netflix outbid HBO and others for the rights to the specials, the first one which will record next year.
