Shares of Accenture were higher Thursday after posting top- and bottom-line beats for the 2016 fiscal fourth quarter. The consulting company reported earnings of $1.31 a share for the fourth quarter, which topped Wall Street’s estimates by a penny. Revenue of $8.49 billion for the period also surpassed analysts’ forecasts. For the year, the company reported profit of $6.45 a share on revenue of $32.88 billion. Accenture also sees fiscal 2017 earnings in the range of $5.75 to $5.98 a share. For the fiscal 2017 first quarter, the company forecast revenue between $8.4 billion and $8.65 billion.
