TheStreet’s Jim Cramer is keeping an eye on Home Depot (HD), Lowe’s (LOW) and Target (TGT) as all three retailers prepare to post quarterly results next week. Cramer says retailers were punished all week, and it remains to be seen if the punishment will continue in the coming week. He says Home Depot, Lowe’s and Target are three of the finest retailers out there and he’s betting the stocks have come down enough that they can bounce if they say anything good. Cramer points out that Nordstrom reported a decent quarter and didn’t get hammered. He also mentions Hewlett Packard (HPQ) which is also scheduled to report next week. He says there’s enough buzz about the split up that even a bad quarter may not hurt the stock. Target is a core holding in Jim Cramer’s Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust portfolio.
