Starbucks (SBUX) and Spotify are partnering on streaming music. Starbucks, once famous for hawking CDs at its registers, is moving into the age of streaming music. The coffee chain and Spotify will allow customers to give feedback on the songs played. Users of the Spotify and Starbucks apps will also have access to playlists created by the company’s baristas. In addition to weighing in on the music played at Starbucks cafes, Spotify subscribers will earn points toward Starbucks loyalty program. Some technicians are bullish on Starbucks stock saying it has room to run, it is up more than 20% so far this year.
