TheStreet’s Jim Cramer is keeping an eye on shares of VeriFone (PAY) as the company prepares to release its second quarter results after the close Thursday. Cramer says the stock is one of his favorites because it’s in the sweet spot. But he thinks its curious that VeriFone announced a deal with Visa (V) Wednesday, a day before the electronic payments solutions company is set to report. He says it could also be a sign of other good things to come. Cramer says he originally thought we would have to wait to see VeriFone’s quarter in order to be able to get a little more aggressive. Now Cramer is saying buy half now and buy half after the company reports.
