In Friday’s Analysts’ Actions, TheStreet highlights upgrades on online deal site Groupon (GRPN), athletic apparel company Under Armour (UA), and casual restaurant chain Denny’s (DENN). Analysts at Deutsche Bank reinstated coverage on shares of Groupon, following the company’s sale of its controlling stake in Ticket Monster to a partnership formed by KKR and Anchor Equity Partners for $360 million in April. The firm also cited Groupon’s first quarter earnings results. Chicago-based Groupon was issued a BUY rating with a price target of $8.50. Under Armour was upgraded to BUY from NEUTRAL with a $91 price target by analysts at D.A. Davidson Friday morning. The firm cited the athletic apparel maker’s earnings growth, recent pullback, and the potential for Under Armour’s higher earnings guidance. And, Denny’s was added to the ‘Best Ideas’ list at Wedbush. The firm upgraded the restaurant chain to OUTPERFORM from NEUTRAL and raised its price target. TheStreet’s Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
