Apple (AAPL) is expected to launch a streaming music service at its Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco, which starts today. It’s almost certain that Apple will follow the yearly update scheduled for its mobile operating system, which means developers can expect to see IOS 9 announced from the stage. There is also widespread expectation that Apple will launch its branded version of the beats streaming music service and may update Apple Pay as well. Sears (SHLD) posted a loss of $2.00 a share versus a $2.59 loss expected. The company’s stock has surged in 2015, rising about 23% this year. On June 2, Sears shareholders filed a class action lawsuit against the company, alleging that the proposed $2.5 billion sale to its Real Estate Investment Trust has been designed to benefit CEO Edward Lampert. Syngenta has rejected, for a second time, a takeover big from Monsanto (MON). Syngenta says Monsanto has made no attempt to solve regulatory issues.
