In Wednesday’s Analysts’ Actions, TheStreet highlights positive notes on oil giant Chevron (CVX) and Facebook (FB) as well as a negative coverage initiation on Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY). Analysts at Societe Generale upgraded shares of Chevron to BUY from HOLD, citing a valuation call. The firm maintained its $115 price target, and said the company offers an attractive 4.3% dividend yield. Facebook was issued a higher price target by analysts at Brean Capital of $108 from $100. Brean reiterated its BUY rating, and said it likes Facebook’s monetization efforts of mobile applications. And finally, analysts at Piper Jaffray initiated coverage on Bristol-Myers with an UNDERWEIGHT rating and a $60 price target. The firm noted Bristol’s relatively weak earnings performance.
