Apple (AAPL) is reportedly testing a giant iPad and has been for 3 years. Reports says Apple could even release the larger tablet this year and it may be called an ‘iPad Pro’. Apple has not confirmed any of the reports, which indicate that the larger tablet will have a screen that measures 12.2″ or 12.9″ in size, which would make it significantly larger than the Apple 9.7″ Air 2. The new size option could help Apple climb out of its iPad sales slump as it could be a better PC replacement for businesses. In an earnings call in January, Apple CEO Tim Cook talked about how there was room for Apple to innovate in the workplace. Apple also recently added new features to the iPad that are meant to take advantage of larger screens.
