Apple (AAPL) was the best performer on the Dow Friday, snapping a five-session losing streak. The tech giant had been hit hard by a market sell-off tied to geopolitical worries over China and Greece. Stocks scored a win to end the week with slight gains. Wall Street rallied early in the session and maintained those gains through to close on hopes a Greek debt deal will be secured this weekend. Equities maintained highs even in the face of more comments from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen that interest rates could rise later this year. Cablevision (CVC) topped the S&P 500 after Altice’s billionaire owner Patrick Drahi mentioned the cable company as a possible target for acquisition.
