U.S. stocks opened lower Tuesday as IBM (IBM) is a damper on trading after reporting a 13th straight quarterly decline in sales. Verizon (VZ) delivered quarterly earnings that beat analysts’ expectations on Tuesday, boosted by an increase in wireless subscribers. Tesla stock (TSLA) could be active today after UBS recommended investors sell on the belief that the company will miss both storage and auto volume growth expectations. Tesla stock is up 35% over the past 3 months. Ford (F) is pushing pickup trucks into a luxury category. The automaker announced today that the 2016 F-150 will be offered in a new Limited model that will sit above the Platinum in the company’s lineup. Prices will start around $50,000.
