Today is the final trading day of July and so far, the major indexes are slightly higher for the month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 1%. The S&P 500 has risen 2%. The NASDAQ has gained 3%. However, the small-cap Russell 2000 index has fallen more than 1% in July. The new Apple TV (AAPL) is reportedly arriving in September. Buzzfeed reports that Apple will unveil the TV, which is said to have slimmed down the TV itself, the Apple TV remote is also getting a redesign and the TV will have voice control with Siri. FireEye (FEYE) delivered second quarter results that exceeded expectations and raised its outlook for the year ahead. However, the cyber security company’s CFO announced he will be leaving for a private technology company. Chicago Purchasing Managers Index is released as it July Michigan Sentiment. Baker Hughes (BHI) will releases it latest rig count.
