Each year, prominent economists, money managers and others in the financial community meet in tiny Grand Lake Stream, Maine, for an event known as Camp Kotok. The gathering at Leen’s Lodge is organized by David Kotok, the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer at Cumberland Advisors. It’s part fishing trip, part conference and part vacation for the attendees, who spend their days talking about the economy, financial issues and politics.
