IBM (IBM) suffered another tough quarter. The tech company saw its 14th straight quarter of declining sales. Despite that, executives say it will stick with its current strategy of growing its cloud business, data analytics, security and mobile businesses. IBM’s 3rd quarter revenue fell 14% to $19.28 billion. Apple (AAPL) Music has 6.5 million paying customers. Apple CEO Tim Cook said those are just a slice of the users who agreed to try out the service on a trial basis starting June 30th, which ended in late September. Cook also failed to give numbers on sales of the Apple Watch but did say ‘a new way of watching TV is coming soon’. Amazon (AMZN) is hiring 100,000 staff for the holidays. The roles will be across shipping warehouses and sorting centers and is a 25% increase from last year. Housing starts for September are released today. Ferrari (RACE) prices its IPO.
