The first GOP presidential debate of 2016 aired Thursday night on Fox Business Network. The candidates discussed a host of issues from national security, gun control, the economy and tax reform. With just over two weeks to go until the all-important Iowa caucus, tensions between Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz reached fever pitch. Trump is polling neck and neck with Cruz in various Iowa polls, though Trump still tops national polls. Trump also maintains a strong lead in New Hampshire, which holds its primary on February 9. TheStreet covered the debate throughout the night from our 14 Wall Street headquarters in New York City. Scott Gamm reports.
