In ‘What’s Ahead on Wall Street’ for Wednesday Mar. 2, on the earnings front, we’ll be focusing on big retailers. In the morning, we have Abercrombie and Fitch (ANF), then in the afternoon, we get results from American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) and Costco Wholesale (COST). When American Eagle comes out with its latest quarterly earnings report, Wall Street is expecting profits of $0.42 a share on revenue over a billion dollars. Both the top and bottom line are projected to grow from a year ago. In January, the company said it had a solid holiday season with same stores sales going up 4% year-over-year. Overall, retailers have been struggling with the warmer-than expected winter. TheStreet’s U-Jin Lee reports from Wall Street.
