TheStreet’s Jim Cramer said investors should be a little bit more circumspect of companies that don’t promote women or have them on their boards. Cramer was commenting on the ‘Misogynist 7’ – which are seven companies in the S&P 500 which don’t have women on their boards. Those seven are: Discovery Communications (DISCA), Garmin (GRMN), Diamond Offshore (DO), Linear Technology (LLTC), Qorvo (QRVO), Concho Resources (CXO) and Dentsply Sirona (XRAY). Cramer also discussed a new gender diversity ETF from State Street Global Advisors that’s trading on the NYSE, under the ticker symbol SHE. ‘I feel it’s very inspirational that State Street did this,’ said Cramer. The ETF was created using data from BoardEx, a company owned by TheStreet.
