Stocks and oil start the week at the highest levels this year but Wall Street could take a breather ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting this week. The 2 day meeting begins tomorrow and no interest rate increase is expected by most economists. United Airlines (UAUA) new CEO is finding himself in the middle of a board battle. Oscar Munoz returns to work after a heart transplant with two activist investors opposing the airline’s plan to have Munoz serve at both company CEO and Chairman of the Board. PAR Capital Management and Altimeter Capital Management, which together own 7% of the airline’s stock, does support Munoz in the CEO role only. Michael Kors (KORS) stock could rise 30% this year, according to Barron’s. It cites the spring 2016 handbag collection and the fashion line’s expansion into footwear, menswear and new stores in Europe and Asia.
