In ‘What’s Ahead on Wall Street’ for Tuesday Mar. 15, the companies we’re following for earnings are DSW (DSW) and Valeant Pharmaceuticals (VRX) in the morning. Then in the afternoon, we get results from Oracle (ORCL). Valeant has been making headlines recently. Shares have gotten hammered as the company faces federal investigations. Investors are also worried about the company’s focus going forward. On top of this, politicians have been taking jabs at the company for boosting drug prices. Given these challenges, Wall Street is expecting both the top and bottom line to decline from a year ago. For the recent quarter, it’s looking for earnings of $2.61 a share on revenue of $2.75 billion. Investors will also get a few economic reports, but ut all eyes will be on the Fed as it starts its two-day meeting. Economists expect the Fed to sit tight on rates, but there could be more clues as to when the hikes will come. TheStreet’s U-Jin Lee reports from New York.
