Businesses have a significant opportunity to influence change when it comes to human rights among LGBT individuals, according to Randy Berry, Special Envoy at the U.S. State Department. ‘A conversation on economic grounds, integrity, diversity and the embrace of pro-LGBT polices can be very impactful in many countries where we have a greater challenge in engaging on a political basis,’ he said.
