In all these regions, Walmart stores operate under 71 different store names employing over 2.2 million associates worldwide. Walmart averages a profit of $1.8 million every hour from operations. The company has created so much wealth for the Walton family that 4 of the 10 richest americans are Walton family members. Each week, 140 million shoppers visit Walmart stores in the U.S.
