TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer said Dollar Tree is a buy. ‘It is a fun place to shop,’ Cramer said. ‘The Wall Street snobs have never been to one.’ Cramer also echoed comments Dollar Tree CEO Bob Sasser made during the earnings call, saying that the discount space is the most attractive area in retail. Dollar Tree reported first quarter earnings of $0.98 a share, ahead of estimates of $0.81, on Thursday. The stock gained 14 percent since the start of the year and 15.3 percent over the last 12 months.
