As Nestle , the world’s largest food marker, looks to build global brands and overcome China weaknesses, experts say the possibility of a Hershey takeover is not likely. Analysts say there is little chance and limited motivation for Nestle to go after Hershey with last week’s M&A-fueled Hershey share spike adding up to nothing more than a short-lived sugar rush. One analysts who spoke with TheStreet says the main barrier to any deal would be the charitable Hershey Trust foundation that controls the company and has the power to block any unwanted suitor. Shares of Hershey are down slightly on Monday.
