While some investors might shy away from PepsiCo because it’s in the shrinking carbonated drink business, TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer says he’s a fan of the company. Action Alerts is invested in the PepsiCo because its organic growth is the strongest of all the consumer packaged goods. They have ‘good’ and ‘good-for-you’ food and beverage categories, they’re still expanding overseas and they’re much less levered to soda. They did not split up the company. They are levered to Frito Lay, a very strong business says Cramer and Quaker, which is making a comeback. If it trades below $100 you should be a buyer as ActionAlerts would be at that level.
