Cowen’s analyst is looking for a ‘super cycle’ in Apple, but if investors get too excited about the company’s forthcoming products then it’s ‘going to hurt the story’, said TheStreet’s Jim Cramer. Cowen analyst Timothy Arcuri said in a research report Monday that the release of the iPhone 8 in 2017 is looking like a ‘powder keg’ that could spark explosive growth. Arcuri said the iPhone 7 looks ‘about flat with iPhone 6S and macro risk is clear’, yet his customer research showed a very strong reaction forming for the iPhone 8.
