Shares of Qualcomm soared by more than 7% Thursday after Qualcomm beat top- and bottom-line forecasts. The semiconductor and telecommunications equipment company posted adjusted earnings of $1.16 per shares, which was 9 cents higher than analysts’ expectations. Revenue of $6 billion topped forecasts of $5.8 billion. Qualcomm’s CEO said the underlying technology migrate to LTE has been the key piece to the company’s success in China.
