Shares of Fiat Chrysler were lower Wednesday following its latest quarterly results. The Italian-American automaker posted earnings of $0.51 cents a share, slightly above analysts’ expectations. North American sales volume was lower than last year due to fewer sales of compact and mid-size sedans, but it was partially offset by improved truck and SUV sales. The company also increased its forecast for full-year operating profit to more than $6 billion, up from its previous expectation of at least $5.5 billion. Fiat Chrysler shares have last half of their value since the beginning of the year.
