Delta says it will continue to work through its system outage today and the airline says it expects more flight delays and cancellations. The Delta CEO took to video for a big ‘I’m sorry’ to passengers stranded due to a system outage. Ed Bastian said all hands were on deck to get the system back up and running. Hundreds of Delta flights were canceled and hundreds were delayed Monday. Disney ( ) reports earnings after the closing bell today. The entertainment and media company had a string of box office successes in the quarter with ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Finding Dory’ and others. The mouse house also opened its $5.5 billion theme park in Shanghai, China. A key focus for investors will be the company’s media division, especially sports cable ESPN. Valeant Pharmaceuticals ( ) reported earnings this morning that were lowered than expected. The company did back full year guidance, however. The Canadian drugmaker came under fire when the New York Times reported that Valeant and other pharmaceutical companies were using a network of specialty pharmacies to sustain sales of their high-priced drugs and prevent patients and insurers from switching to cheaper generic drugs.
