Beverage giant PepsiCo sure knows how to throw a ’90s party. To celebrate Crystal Pepsi’s return to store shelves on Monday, PepsiCo hosted a star-studded ’90s themed bash in New York City that would have made Will Smith of ‘Fresh Prince of Be Air’ jealous. From period correct arcade games such as Mortal Kombat to bite-sized pot pies, the awesomeness of the ’90s was front and center. Headlining the event were musical performances by acts that rose to fame in the ’90s such as Salt N Pepa, En Vogue, Biz Markie and Lisa Loeb. Although Crystal Pepsi has been missing from store shelves for over 20 years, some of the musicians on hand have been anything but dormant during that time. TheStreet’s Brian Sozzi has details from New York.
