Shares of Nordstrom were on the rise Monday after announcing it will sell an edited assortment of the J.Crew collection at 16 select stores and online. Beginning Sept. 12, Nordstrom will offer women’s apparel, accessories and petites from the J.Crew collection. The move builds on an existing partnership with Nordstrom, which already sells J. Crew’s Madewell brand in dozens of stores and online. Nordstrom is the only retailer to sell J.Crew and products outside of their own retail stores in the U.S. JWN shares have gained about 5% year-to-date.
