Shares of JetBlue Airways were higher Wednesday after the airline said it would boost its service to Boston. The company said it would increase service to Logan Airport by over 40% to 200 peak daily departures from 140. JetBlue is also launching a nonstop destination to Atlanta to begin on March 30, 2017. It intends to add service between Atlanta’s airport and Fort Lauderdale, FL, New York and Orlando. The expanded service allows JetBlue to further compete with Delta Air Lines as it is also looking to expand its Boston flights to 90 daily by June 2017, according to Bloomberg.
