Ford’s( ) best selling F-Series today became the official truck of the National Football League, and there was a lot of tough talk to go with the announcement. The automaker says its ‘toughest trucks’ are celebrating football’s ‘toughest players.’ NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz, who used to play for the Cincinnati Bengals, joined Mark LaNeve, a vice president of Ford, to kick off the partnership in New York. As part of the marketing push for the partnership, Ford teamed up with Uber to allow fans to order tailgates to go with their Uber apps.
