The Morgan Stanley upgrade of General Motors is less bullish than it sounds, said TheStreet’s Jim Cramer. Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas upgraded General motors to Overweight from Equal Weight citing the U.S. auto giant’s ability to “remain relevant and profitable for longer than the market thinks.” Cramer said the upgrade is “damning with faint praise”. Shares of both GM and Ford have struggled this year as the hype over driverless cars and a lack of millennial buying has dominated the headlines.
