Tonight: Letitia James takes over the Cornell rape investigation as special prosecutor. The move comes after New York Governor Kathy Hochul said she had lost confidence in the local district attorney’s handling of the case. It comes as NBC News has obtained hundreds of pages of documents from Cornell’s Title IX proceedings. Plus, the Wall Street Journal reports the co-pilot who tried to fly a plane bound for Israel into the ground had been banned from flying by his home country, Oman, over his radical views. Plus, an Israeli official told NBC News investigators discovered the co-pilot had posted on social media that he wanted to kill Jews. And newly unsealed police body camera footage shows the arrest of Luigi Mangione. Also, as Americans look ahead to Thanksgiving and Christmas, a new study from travel website Hopper finds that the cost of going home for the holidays is skyrocketing due to the jet fuel prices. We’ll have that story and some advice for travelers.
