A teacher “fought” and “tackled” the suspected shooter by throwing her cell phone at him, according to Bend Police Chief Mike Krantz. The suspected shooter, who has been identified as Griffin J. John II, previously attended Silver Rail Elementary. The investigation is still active and underway.
