Bessent pressures countries to cut economic ties with Iran

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced new economic actions against Iran and the country’s financial connections around the globe on Monday. During his remarks, Bessent warned any country or entity that “facilitates money laundering on behalf of Iran will be removed from the U.S. dollar system.”
