Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy revealed on air Sunday that he and wife Hillary Vaughn are expecting their third child together.
The star journo shared the happy news during “The Sunday Briefing.”
“And finally, I have some family news,” Doocy said.
“I’ve got two [kids] at my house … well, here’s a Fox News alert, another one is on the way,” he said as Fox News flashed a photograph of the growing family.
“My wife Hillary is pregnant,” Doocy continued.
“She is due on my dad’s birthday, so Doocy party of five coming soon, and this little bundle of joy will be here in time for midterm coverage on The Sunday Briefing.”
The proud grandfather is a co-host of “Fox & Friends,” while Hillary Vaughn is a former Fox Business Network correspondent.
The baby will join older siblings Bridget Blake Doocy, who was born in February 2023, and George Jack Doocy, who arrived in April of last year.
Doocy, Fox News’ senior White House correspondent and co-host of “The Sunday Briefing,” married Vaughn in April 2021.
The pair met while working at Fox and have largely kept details of their relationship private.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” in September 2022.
After George’s birth, Vaughn said growing their family had brought even more joy into their home.
“It has been such a blessing to welcome our son to this world and it is just as special to see Bridget welcome her baby brother George,” she told People.
“Growing our family means giving our kids lifelong best friends and as a new heartbeat fills our home, our hearts are filled with more love than ever before.”
