British fashion brand Joules is eyeing further expansion in the U.S., and may be helped by the weak pound. “We’re going to be great value here in the U.S. for the next few seasons,’ said Tom Joule, the brand’s founder. Joule said the company, which went public in the U.K. earlier this year, placed hedges on currency “a long way out.” International sales for Joules have now approached 12%, with the majority coming from the U.S. market. The Joules brand, perhaps best known for its Wellies rain boots, currently is sold in department stores like Nordstrom and Dillard’s .
