Jaguar isn’t a name typically associated with SUVs, but consumers have taken to its new F-PACE SUV. The 2017 vehicle is on display at Jaguar’s “Art of Performance Tour,” which recently stopped in the New York City area and is headed next to Washington D.C. Lorraine McKiniry, product specialist at Jaguar, said the SUV has been in strong demand. “People were so excited about it, the dealers were taking orders and the first deliveries all went out to the pre-orders, so it was hard for people who even wanted to go take a test drive to find them,” she explained. “We have them at this event. So people who come to see us here will be among the first people to drive F-PACE.” The starting price for the F-PACE is $41,000. Jaguar is also featuring its XE sports car during the tour, which starts at less than $35,000. The “Art of Performance Tour” gives consumers the opportunity to test drive new Jaguars and star in a short virtual reality film. The tour opens in Washington D.C. on Friday.
