Apple suppliers reportedly ramped up production on augmented reality components. Apple’ has more than 100 employees working on its AR team, their AR glasses are not expected to be debuted until 2018. Tim Cook told The Independent that he’s “excited” about augmented reality and considers it to be a “big idea” on par with the smartphone.
The AR / virtual reality could be worth as much as $108 billion by 2020.
