Beyond his public appearances as an investor on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” Robert Herjavec, a businessman and CEO of Herjavec Group, has 30 years of experience in cybersecurity. Herjavec said data is increasingly being used as a weapon to “usurp the political process,” as seen in the email scandal that was a major problem for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Herjavec also applauded the Trump administration for creating a task force to bring more attention to cybersecurity issues.
“We are in the midst of the new cold war, and it’s only going to get worse,” Herjavec said.
