UK Prime Minister Theresa May’s move to call a snap election, which sparked a hung parliament, was probably one of the great gaffes of all time, according to TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer.
“I think she’ll be out,” Cramer said, adding that the markets didn’t react to the election results.
While Cramer doesn’t think investors are ignoring what happened, he thinks there’s a recognition that polling is no longer valid.
When May called for the election in April, she had quite a lead in the polls over her rivals, which shrunk considerably over time.
