A New York home’s 12-foot Frosty the Snowman decoration is a local sensation, but was originally a 1970s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade float before being taken in by the Long Island family. Visitors are encouraged to take pictures with Frosty and donate to “Make A Wish.” NBC News’ Valerie Castro reports on how the family completely refurbished Frosty and even renovated their garage to fit him inside.
