In an exclusive interview with Meet the Press, Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.) says he “went to communities that the campaign didn’t even show up in” to canvas for former Vice President Harris. The comments come as Harris criticizes Shapiro in her new book as “unable to settle for a role as number two” when she vetted him as a potential running mate in 2024.
