Chipotle has teamed up with drone delivery company Zipline.

Chipotle is taking delivery to new heights, rolling out drone delivery in the Dallas area.
The chain has teamed up with drone delivery firm Zipline for a service called “Zipotle.”
Here’s how it works: Customers download the Zipline app, and if eligible, place their Chipotle order straight from their phone.
Employees pack it up, drop it into a “Zipping Point,” and then the magic happens: a drone – or Zip – swoops in, picks up the food, then hovers 300 feet above your location before lowering tacos, burrito bowls, or guac gently to the ground.
Each drone can carry up to 5 and a half pounds now, with plans to handle even bigger orders soon.
Chipotle says Zipotle is perfect for hard-to-reach spots like backyards and parks.
For now, only a small group of Zipline users have access, but a broader rollout is coming in the weeks ahead.
No more waiting for a driver, and no more soggy burritos.
