Drugmaker Eli Lilly says after successful results in a phase 3 clinical trial, it expects to submit a GLP-1 weight loss pill for FDA approval by the end of the year. The pill does not produce the same amount of weight loss as injections, but doctors believe it will be an important option for some patients. NBC News’ Stephanie Gosk reports.
